ROADWORKS and kerb and channelling are currently underway on William Street in Rosewood.
The Ipswich City Council has funded the work at an estimated cost of $280,000.
The works will include removal and replacement of the road pavement, reconstruction of sections of kerb and channel, the removal and replacement of pavement rehabilitation and driveways will also be replaced where required to match the new road levels.
Cr Russell Milligan said that he was pleased to see this work being delivered to improve the local road network within the Rosewood township.
“This will improve conditions for not only the road users but also for those living in this section of William Street,” he said.
The roadworks are expected to be completed by March, weather permitting.
