Operation Zero
During July, Rosewood Police and the Ipswich Highway Patrol have issued 25 traffic infringement notices in the Rosewood area.
In court
On July 28, Rosewood Police went to a Walloon address and arrested two people who were wanted on outstanding arrest warrants.
As a result of the search, an Inala man, 34, was found to be in possession of cannabis and was transported to the Ipswich Watchhouse where he was charged to appear in the Ipswich Magistrates Court on August 11.
Crime
On July 25, three properties on Thagoona Haigslea Road and McGearys Road, Thagoona were targeted by thieves.
The unknown offenders targeted vehicles and sheds at the locations. Tools, a pit bike and a Subaru Forrester were stolen.
On July 28, the Subaru Forrester was abandoned on a street in Moorooka.
Police are appealing for information about the matter and urge people to contact Rosewood Police to report any sightings of suspicious behaviour in the vicinity.
