Pig whisperer and racing caller has entertaining thoroughbreds

Watching pigs racing is entertainment at its best says Kevin who has a stable of ‘racing thoroughbreds’.

Kevin’s been running Noah’s Farm Thoroughbred Racing Pigs for more than 20 years and refers to himself as the ‘pig whisperer’ who enjoys training and guiding the pigs to entertain at local shows and fundraisers.

“Over the years we have fundraised thousands of dollars for charities and organisations,” he said.

“The pig races are top entertainment for all ages and everyone involved always has a great time.

“We have had many names for our pigs like, Kevin Bacon, Bob Pork, Pauline Hamson and Brad Spit this adds a little humour to the day.

“Supporters follow our races, and over the years we have travelled all over Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania, the performance is a one of a kind.

“Crowds cheer for their favourite pig from the starting line as they make their way through an obstacle course for the chance to be the first snout over the finishing line.

“As families back their preferred pig over the line, there is always a great, fun and exciting atmosphere from the side line, the pigs enjoy the encouragement also.”

The pig race will take place on Saturday, families are encouraged to come along, to support this one-of-a-kind-race, as Kevin and his pigs share the thrill of pig racing.
