A ROSEWOOD couple have been successfully breeding and exhibiting Australian Ponies for more than half a century.
Graham and Ruth Wass will be among the exhibitors in the Horse section at the Rosewood Show tomorrow (Saturday).
“We’ll be entering Kar Trice Tamara and a filly, which will be having her first showing,” said Ruth.
The Wass’ met with success at the Kalbar Show last weekend with Kar Trice Tamara, which was judged the Supreme Champion Australian Pony exhibit and Champion Harness Pony.
“We’ve exhibited at all the local Shows over the years and at the Brisbane Exhibition and the Sydney Royal,” said Ruth.
“In fact, until Covid, Graham had an entry in the Brisbane Exhibition every year for 45 years.”
The couple have now retired and “downsized a bit” in terms of numbers but the quality of their Australian Pony exhibits remains unchanged.
