Don’t say, goodbye,
It will only make you sad.
And bring a tear to your eye!
Better to say, I will see you again!
Even if you don’t know if, or when.
How many people do we meet in our lifetime?
They come, and they go,
During the course of time!
There are many people we have yet to meet,
Look around, as you walk down the street.
If you don’t like someone, don’t sigh.
Wait thirty minutes,
And a new one will come by!
Some will make a lasting impression,
While others, are only part of the procession.
Some people can make you happy.
Others, can make you sad.
Be grateful, for the good times you had!
Don’t say goodbye!
Say, until we meet again.
Even if, we don’t know where, or when.
