POLICE made an emergency declaration under the Public Safety Preservation Act on Friday April 1, when a 49-year-old man and a 44-year-old woman were found dead at a property on Blakes Road in Rosewood.
At around 4pm on April 1, officers were called to the Blakes Road property to conduct a welfare check when the bodies were found inside.
Preliminary investigations indicated the deaths were not suspicious, however police identified a number of potential hazards including explosive gadgets found within the home.
An exclusion zone was declared as a precaution.
The emergency declaration was revoked on Sunday April 3.
A report was prepared for the coroner and the property remains a crime scene as investigations are still underway.
