Rosewood High Seniors take to the stage one last time

THE Rosewood High class of 2021 stepped onto the stage for one last time during their graduation ceremony.

The event opened with the senior students entering the school hall through an honour guard.

Special memories were shared through an array of photos on a projector screen to the enjoyment of students, their families and school staff.

Senior school leader Aidan Mann welcomed everyone to the graduation the last year at school was full of many ups, downs and challenges.

“While this is the end of an era, a new one awaits us.

“Now I look around and see my fellow peers who I can call my friends and I applaud them all for their courage.

“Determination and hard work has got us to the end together and I am sure we will all go off now to do amazing things.”

Aidan gave thanks to all of the teaching staff at the school on behalf of his fellow leaders, Eryn, Megan and Tim.

“When we leave these doors many of us may never see each other again, but I would like to thank you all for the memories, whether happy or sad, these moments have shaped us into who we are today,” he said.

Principal Nicole Sherlock congratulated each senior student on their journey through high school.

“You should all be proud of your achievements,” she said.

“I must also acknowledge all of the teaching staff, families and carers who have stood by our leaders through the many challenges, exams and events throughout their schooling years.

“Now I wish you all the very best in whatever the next chapter will be, keep focused and follow your dreams because anything is possible.”

The ceremony concluded with applause and honour as the seniors left the hall for the last time, parents and families were then welcomed to stay for light refreshments that were put on by the school staff.
