Walloon house fire

On Friday morning, all emergency services were called to a fire at a home in Walloon.

On arrival, police found the home was well engulfed in flames.

The police soon established that all occupants including children were out of the home and out of the estate.

Queensland Fire and Emergency Services were on the scene and were attempting to suppress the fire which eventually burned through the whole building.

Members of the public had also assisted in the initial moments after the fire was first noticed by smashing windows to ensure that there was no one inside.

QFES fire investigators spent the day ensuring that there were not any suspicious circumstances surrounding the fire.

Investigations are continuing.
