MEN’S HEALTH was the central theme of the monthly Men’s Breakfast hosted by the Rosewood Anglican Church.
Guest speakers on the morning were Dr Stuart Robinson a psychiatrist from the Ipswich Hospital and Member for Ipswich West MP Jim Madden.
Dr Robinson discussed the mental health issues that men can face in later life and the various ways to deal with these problems.
Member for Ipswich West Jim Madden discussed his role as the Co-Chair of the Christian Fellowship Group in State Parliament and how his Christian beliefs provide him with mental strength and a moral compass while undertaking his work as a Member of Parliament.
“Everyone enjoyed the gathering as well as the hearty breakfast,” Mr Madden said.
He and Kerry Abraham donated the gift hamper for the lucky door prize.
“The breakfast was organised by Col Clifford, Church Warden at the Rosewood Anglican Church and everybody enjoyed their morning,” Mr Madden said.
