Dressed to impress at the Rosewood Show Ball

AN evening filled with laughter, dancing, celebration and great music best describes the Rosewood Show Ball.

The event, which signals the approach of the big two-day Rosewood Show was held on Saturday night.

The judges who took on the job of selecting the winners in each category were former Gympie District Show and Near North Coast Rural Ambassador Brianna Van Doren and executive member of the Lockyer Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Tourism, Jane Matthews.

“There were around 160 guests at the Ball,” said Kate Hillan from the Rosewood Show Society.

“It was a really good evening with a great atmosphere.

“And so many took the time to dress to impress the judges.

“Everyone enjoyed themselves – can’t ask for more.”

Always ready to promote the Show Society and its activities, Kate announced that the 2026 Rosewood Show Ball would be held on Saturday, June 6.

“Mark your calendar now.”
